He's 65 years old. She's in her teens. He went to a foreign country and brought her to the United States with the intention of marrying her. She's a virgin.
Her visa gave her a certain period of time to marry - or return to her country.
Once here in the states, he declared his intentions. As his wife, he expected her to meet his bizarre sexual desires. She balked; this was not what she had wanted or expected. She was frightened and in a foreign country.
She met a woman from her own country; they became friends. She received support. She was encouraged to return to her own country. She had only a few days left on her visa.
The man stepped up and did the right thing; he paid for her return.
She's safe with her family again.
Don't turn your head! Sexual slavery is rampant! It exists in America! Quite possibly in your town.
The incident I've described happened within the last month. It was a family member of ours that stepped in to support this young woman!
Lift this situation to God! Pray for those enslaved with no hope of release. Support those who are trying to expose those who traffic in women and children! Pray that our Great God will let justice roll down like a mighty river!
