TUNNEL HILL - FINAL

[Take note:  you are entering a story that has three previous segments.]

Tunnel Hill Free Methodist Church was all that I have said.  But the most wonderful thing about Tunnel Hill was the people!

Gene and Betty Conrad had us over to their home many Sundays for dinner, since we were sort of temporary dwellers in the trailer/parsonage.  Their family became our family!

Carl and Elizabeth Bean also took a special interest in us and we learned to love their family.  We returned after some years to visit and stayed at the home of their daughter, Carla, and her family!

Beatrice Robinson treated us like royalty!  Eating at her home was an amazing experience!

Doug Benham was a young man who played the piano for us and worked with the youth.  He eventually became the pastor of the church!  His grandma, Fanny Benham, was also a very special lady with a great love for God!

I did my first two funerals while at Tunnel Hill.  Hubert Robinson and Cecil (I'm sorry, I've forgotten his last name.  His wife was Legaitha and she also played the piano for us).

Debbie and I have lived in many places.  We've made many friends - dear friends!  Special people who contributed to our lives.  We're so grateful.  God has been good to us!

We look forward to having a reunion in Heaven with these dear folks some day and singing "Living By Faith".  And while we're singing, Jesus will interrupt and say, "Come And Dine".

Dear friends - it's all about people!  Keep that in mind as you travel through this day!
