ONE OF MY FAVORITE DAYS

Okay, I live in northern Ohio.  From November through March, we don't see a lot of Mr. Sun.  We watch the daylight time grow shorter and shorter;  then when Daylight Savings Time ends, it feels like we lose another hour of light (although most of us know that it just shifts back to the mornings).

But, then, December 21st arrives!  WOO HOO!  The shortest period of daylight in the year!  From here on, baby, the daylight will grow!  By the end of January it will actually be noticeable!

Then comes the Daytona 500, then the first robin, then the crocus, then the spring peepers...you get my drift.

So, for those of you who suffer through the long days of winter - take hope!  The daylight time starts growing!

  1. I agree! I just read over some different articles concerning S.A.D. and this one seemed pretty helpful with what to look for and multiple, easy ways to combat it. Love your blog! Thanks for taking the time to write it. ~ Jen :-)
